im totally new to this so my apologies if i sound stupid. i downloaded shrink and under the 'backup dvd' page - target device, im supposed to choose either ISO image files or hard disk folder. what is an ISO image files and whats the difference if i choose either which? I just want to duplicate my dvd to a DVD+RW thats all.

So, basically .iso is a "snapshot" of the whole disc structure and data that can be later burnt back to the disc 1:1. Free tools like ImgBurn can be used to burn .iso images to DVDR discs.
