i was updating my PSP to verion 3.11 and the sight told me not to turn the system off... well i lost the battery pack cover and so its taped in the back and it was half way done updating and the battery came out and now when i turn my psp back on its just a black screen... the sight also reccommends that if that happened 2 send it in for repair or exchange it and ive had it since the day it came out and dont think i can exchange it and i dont really wanna send it in so is there anything i can do??? plz help

mod chip. thats about it. but you can only install one if its not a ta-083 motherboard.

But i would suggest sending it in for repairs to avoid the extra cost for the mod chip. Or return it to the store you bought it..provided its still under warranty.

you would have to solder it...if you dont know how to do that you can look up someone from your area who can do it for you
