Booktyping with TEAC drives?

My dvd burner came with the system (Dell) so I'm wondering if I can even booktype with it. Name of drive "TEAC DVD+RW DV-W58E" just want to see if I can get some better burns with DVD-R

Short answer I think is no.

I had this problem back in 2004. Never found a solution or any hope for one. Dell doesn't plan to ever update the driver. Dangerous brothers might could help, but it's been asked several times in the forums(searched) to have a booktype setting added, and they said no. I think there are threads on the the topic here on this forum, but with no solution either.
