use dvd fab decryptor to shrink to Nero or image burn. Problem solved.

I was able to backup my purchased copy by creating an .iso file w/ DVDFab and burning the .iso file w/ latest version of CloneDVD2. I had to disable AnyDVD to get this to work. Sony has failed again!
This is our world now, and those ancient people are dead.

No, AnyDVD 6.1.3.0 wouldn't work for me. I couldn't even play the disc with it running.

It always helps. Im dissapointed that AnyDVD and clonedvd2 cant cope with this. HOwever they did update AnyDVD a day or so ago so maybe now. I haven't tried to re-back up casino since i found success several days ago using dvd fab then opening up in shrink and then on to Nero or imageburn.I recommend movie only option. It keeps compression to 71%. Its all about the numbers baby. Thanks for the links

Ive used
dvdfab platinum NO LUCK
anydvd NO LUCK
the only thing that works on this type of dvd from sony is....
Ripit4Me in wizard mode and u fixVTS before the popup about fix VOB errors and open DVD Shrink
Dvdshrink opened the file at this point but couldnt finish...
NERO recode finished and compressed and burned the file... played fine in dvd player.....

If you'd used one of the File rip modes (not ISO) and used the 1-Click mode instead of the Wizard, you wouldn't have encountered any problems with RipIt4Me. I did this one last week without a hitch. FixVTS is already part of RipIt4Me, so using it over is being redundant. Once Shrink does the quick analysis (compliance check), the files on the hard drive can be used in any program. Since they're open in Shrink, it's easiest to continue on with it. But some like faster programs and some (like me) like the higher quality of encoder software (RB/CCE).

trouble with casino royal.
used dvdfabdycrypter full disc copy failed. tried ripping just main movie, THis worked first time.

So, you like DVDFab Decrypter because you can do movie only? I like RI4M because I have a choice of Full DVD, Movie + Menus, and Movie Only.
