ROFL, thats only a trojen. When people talk about bricking on here, its because a file in either f0: or f1: was modified wrong or deleted. Hence the PSP doesnt know what to do and therefore crashes.

Doesnt expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected and therefore mean youre expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?

Yeah, that's the only thing that makes sense. Why would someone like Dark_Alex want to give us a virus?

This is referring to the FAKE downgrader that was patched with a virus and reuploaded by certain invdividuals. This article is NOT representitive of the PSP downgraders in gerneral.

relax...
there are also some kind-hearted person who would make a counter of these. besides, i definately doubt that viruses could conquer one's system since the psp's fw is always having an update, w/c means a tougher security. the only way for it to be possible is when DAX himself make those. rolf :P

Interesting point. If there even was a virus that was really a threat, the PSP dev people would be ALL OVER IT trying to use it to downgrade.

thanks :D
add to that, a psp browser doesn't use any active x control, the browser itself is even too primitive: netscape 4.0 :( couldn't even watch youtube at the moment :D
