Bricked PSP Any Help?

I jut aquire a bricked psp. Is there anyway to unbrick a psp. I was told it was bricked trying to downgrade firmware.

If you can even get to the XMB to downgrade it isnt bricked mate :P

As far as i know a motherboard replacement is the only way to fix a brick, unless you are lucky enough to have a custom firmware

No probs,

basically can you turn it on and get to the main menu? If not, hold "R" when turning the PSP on, and keep it held down untill a blue screen comes up.

If one comes up, your a jammy swine and it can be fixed easily, if not you need to buy a new motherborad/get a new one installed

When I held the R when turning on it booted up whats my fix?

ok do a hard reboot by holding the power button until it flickers off (hold it for about 10 secs.) then reboot it and hold the "r" button while doing it and you should boot into a recovery console if you have a custom firmware.
