I have a video that is in a widescreen format and has english subtitles. I had to bind the subtitles file (.srt) with the video file(.avi) to play them together. When I binded them the subtitles appeared on the bottom of the picture, but as this vid 2.5 times wider then it is high I would like to extend the vertical resolution to allow for a black bar at the bottom so that I could place my subtitles there. I would like to do this without changing the original picture in any way. Also, I may need to either enlarge the font or sharpen the quality of the subtitles without changing the timing or content of the subtitles. Can anyone help me?? I have limited knowledge of these things but I can follow directions well.
