It's been slow on here, I havent seen very many posts that have any good jokes, sayings, and etc. Where did all the funny people go???
I pledge allegiance to the Cheese Clan,

a group of people for which it stands,

The personally of the site and Safety Valve changed like from day to night..
That happen because a ton of the regular members who always posted every day moved on., they are know as the old timers that started out here in the year 2002 thru 2005.as they are the members that made this site rock.and they did post a ton of funny stuff here in the safety valve.
ye can tell how well the site is doing by how meny mods that still here helping out.
my post count is way down to about 10 or less a day,last year at this same time it was about a hundred a day..
It seems the total posts are down all over the site..the posts seems to be getting less every day..
There was a time drd had a total counter of members signed on at the bottom of the page..
I would like to see it brought back?

I am here, once in awhile, too. When I see a person who needs some help, I still try to help them, but there are a lot more folks in the forums now, who are able to help, than there were when I first dropped in a few years ago.

Yeah; There are a lot of people that I haven't seen in the forums anymore that used to do a lot of helping out.

wow lol it seems like so long ago now that we used to have so much fun was great coming here continually back in the day...

It seems to me that a good 90% of all posts these days are not worthy of an answer. Those of us who have been around for a while have seen just about every question before, so we tend to leave replying to the n00bs who feel a need to boost post count.
I see plenty of old timers post here and there from time to time, but honestly when they do it's more often than not to correct some wrong info or blatant BS from a n00b. Do we confine ourselves to the safety valve and selected sections where we have specialised knowledge. Seems so.
Then some of us roam with fingers on the report button hunting out the lazy, idiotic and immature.. I know I do, and great sport it is. Not exactly satisfying, and not very productive.
That's my view of the situation as it stands now.. Those of us who have been around a bit know how to find the information we need without posting questions in a forum, and just maybe we look at others who are either too lazy to look around a bit, or too ignorant of what the internet has to offer as below us, and not deserving of our help....
Oh no.. I'm getting philosophical again.. where's my beer???

I think there are few contributing factors.
-Too many bloody stickeys in the saftey valve
-People growing up (Grow old never grow up)
-People just get pissed off banning the same three people over and over.

i admit, i miss the old days too, as (not including articles) i post here probably 5 times a week as compared to 10-25 posts a day when i started and i miss some of the old timers (lethal, rav, stang, cbrooks, phantom, toki...others you know who u are), it was a good bunch back then.

Wow, it's good to hear from all of you guys. My post count is also down to atleast 3 or 4 a day. I come on here often, but have few things to say.

Ive been on here since, 05 Oct 2005, and when i started out on here i was 16, now im 18. But it used to be really busy on here. I used to post at least 15-20 times a day. I also got in trouble the very first time i posted on here...lol
