DVD subtitles get out of syn after some time.

Hello All,

I've been ripping some movies lately and I used the following tools to do this:

DVD Fab (I extract from the original disc as a full DVD9 on my HDD)
DVD Shrink (I compress the files to fit a DVD5)
Nero 7 (I copy the compressed files to an emty DVD-R)

I was having no trouble since recently I noticed while watching a coulpe of them (Seven & Catch Me If You Can) that their subtiltles were getting out of synchronization with the audio. Strange thing is that they start ok at the beginning of the movie, but after about 45mins they start to delay. I mean first you hear the words, then you see the subtitle after about a second. Can this be corrected somehow please? I got no experience in extracting or fiddling with DVD subtitles.
