NOT able to insert the old DVD key to the new Hitachi 59dj drive...help!!!!

hey all

i know how to insert a dvd key in the ms25 and ms28

but for the hitachi , i use gary's 8 in1 where i can exactly figure out how to put the ket...

my old samsung drive is damaged and have a new hitachi drive in its place but dont know how to put the samsung's DVD key.../

someone...?? thanx

get opa 2.3 and run the commands it says in the readme.txt and it will put the key and everything and flash it for you.

Easier way I think. Get orig.bin from Hitachi
Copy key from Samsung to hitachi orig.bin
reflash hitachi orig.bin to the actual hitachi drive.

Run opa 2.3

i have a question for ya ! my hitachi-LG drive(gdr-3120L)
ROM VER: 0046DG manufactured : august 2005 , broke on me a few days ago it started by having trouble reading my back up copies and it would make this loud noises when reading, after a while it stop reconizing any disc i would put in but i was still able to use my x to go on live and play my xbl arcade games and stuff but... then my xbox wouldnt turn on at all , i get the ring of death with 3 red lights flashing , so i went ahead and took it all apart and took out the dvd drive and tried to turn the x on like that but nothing the same shit happends, since u seem to have had the same problem maybe u can help me alil bit here..

i can copy the key from samsung's orig.bin to hitachi's orig.bin

But ,, how do u reflash that dvd key modified orig.bin to the hitachi

i mean wat's the command and can someone explain step by step after the key is modified

sorry but dont really know how to do it...
