Movies won't play from memory stick

Can someone please help me? I have a PSP FW2.82 and when I put my memory stick in to play the movies on it I get the message that it cannot play this movie. Is there anywhere I can get a video upgrade from or is there a downgrade anywhere for FW 2.82.

all movies are in dvd - mpeg 4 format. The memory stick works in my wife's psp which is FW 2.60

hahaha yea how old are u man? and you should try getting an image converter...you can buy the one from Sony I have it and it works perfectly or if u dont want to spend money (I wuz lucky enough cause a friend had it XD) just look for one on the Internet...yea I hope that this might help...
