downgrading a 2.81 JAP psp.

i have a 2.81 psp and i'm going to downgrade it with LCS. Do i need a specific downgrader since its has a japanese firmware or its okay if i use the downgrader released?please help :|

no u dont need a spacific downgrader i have a jap psp and i had no problems with the american LCS and the downgrader so knock yourself out man

All PSP's are built the same really.. there is nothing unique about a Japanese PSP VS a USA PSP except they can only play UMD movies from there region. The system software is all the same.

i have a jap psp a white one that i got imported so i didnt have the same psp as every one else in the US
and i have custom psp FW 3.03OE-C without any problems

does he know what hes talking about? lol as long as you are running one of the standard sony fws that can be downgraded, it dowsnt matter what nation your psp is from...
