i have a psp with firmware 2.82, what are somethings I can and cant do, like can I run roms and isos, and should I upgrade for a better settings.

to be honest i think u should upgrade to custom firmware to like 3.03OE-C or something so that u have more options and you can run psp games for free and stuff like that

ok but my psp doesnt have any code at all on the back of the umd slot like the T67363 etc ones, is that a problem? and how do I upgrade to that.

DONT TRY TO UPGRADE FROM 2.82 TO THE CUSTOM FIRMWARE

to install the custom firmware you will need to downgrade to 1.5
if you have 2.82 official sony firmware the only way at the moment to downgrade your psp, is to upgrade to official sony firmware 3.03 and then downgrade to 1.5
to downgrade from 3.03 you will need a original umd of gta liberty city stories ,the unpatched version of Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories.
The unpatched version of the game that contains the 2.0 update.
