Is there any way possible to back-up my own personal collection of DVDs with Vista Operating System? I just bought this laptop and have tried many of my software programs nothing seems to work.Help Please!!!

Not likely, as most users here with questions about vista are asking us wether or not to get it (to which we reply with a hearty NO) or are asking us how to get rid of it, because of it's DRM.
I STRONGLY suggest you pm a moderator and have them move this thread to the dvd forums.
