WTF AN ENCRYPTED WINRAR FILE

As the subject suggests I has an Encrypted Win Rar file and when i go to extract it it asks for a password and i have no clue what it is.

Any know a programme to de-crypt it or to find the password?

now i have re-gotten the file and it's still encrypted anyone know how i get the password?

Normally when you download a file that is WinRared and requires a password (mainly in torrents), it is so only a selected few can get what is inside. No, anyone in there right mind won't give you a WinRAR password cracker (if there even is one).

Have you considered buying it? One, its legal, and two you don't need a password.

Look, some sites encrypt their rar files, it is not that uncommon on public torrent sites. With that download you should have also got either a text file of a NFO file (which you open in notepad)
One of those will either give you a password, or more than likely lead you to some site that has the password (usually in a foreign language so good luck with that one)
great way to avoid this is find some private sites, check the site every day to see if they accept sign ups, and when they do jump on board. Then you will never have this problem. The only disadvantage to private sites (which is not really a disadvantage as it helps the community) is that you have to keep a good seeding ratio. which means no more selfish acts of "i got my download so i can shut down my torrent program and move on". You have to give back what you take.
