Well I disconnected my DVD-Rom and just kept my burner set as it was previous. Also I AM running AnyDVD in the background. Forgot about it. Anyway I went ahead and did a backup of Rocky Balboa and as expected the total time to encode and burn was a shade over 20 minutes:

Also I posted a quick shot of the encoding screen but the rate is actually lower as it peaked out slightly over 8,000 KB/s which is what it usually runs.

As for a Nero log, I don't open Nero standalone. I just use it intergrated with Shrink. Am I able to post a log that way? If so just tell me where to get it and I will gladly post it. I am about to reconnect my DVD-Rom and do a backup again to show the DRASTIC change in the amount of time it takes.

Well I turned off all the quality stuff and burnted Rocky in 14 min. 56 sec. I stand to be corrected, but I'm after a good burn not speed that's why Casino Royale took 62 min. I've always ran the extra stuff never tried to do it this way Oh well you learn something ever day But I going to set it back up for the Slow Ride !

Well I think I might go back to the slow ride as well. Rocky burned, yes, but it wouldn't play. Weird. I was able to burn something else afterwards that played fine.

what brand of media r u using?

Might need a firmware update?

IMO using the quality setting helps the picture quality a lot.
