Sorry for not updating you on it, but my friend was on the computer until right before I went to bed last night. I tried your suggestion, but still no improvement. Thanks though.

I had a friend who had the same problem he could see other peoples router but not his own and his router was maybe 15 ft away on the same level. We found the radio that was sitting right next to his xbox was causing interference. We unplugged the radio and found his router no problem so make sure you dont hae anything that could be causing interference around you xbox.

Is your Gaming Mode enabled?

To enable this...

Step 1 Access the web-based configuration by entering the IP address of your router in your web browser. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1. Enter your username (admin) and your password (blank by default).

Step 3 On the Miscellaneous page, select the Enabled or Disabled radio button under Gaming Mode. Click Apply to save your changes.

Mine doesn't look the same, and it has different options...It doesn't have a Misc. option in the tools tab. Here's a screenshot:

Do you have the most up to date firmware?
Download Firmware here.
Instruction to Installing Firmware.

I can see that you have version 1.04. There have been some bug updates and they have a new version 1.09 download and install that.

I would see if you can connect. Can you tell me if you have any security settings? Like WPA or Wep? I believe it is under the Wireless settings tab.

No problem. Glad it works for you. If you don't have a password on your network I would ad a WPA-PSK password. It is so much safer, and I have found it runs faster because you don't have other people stealing your signal.
