PSP internet woes...using the GOD awful WiFi Max

Guys (and Girls):

I've looked at every tutorial that I can find and followed to the letter. I can't get my friggin' WiFi Max to accept my PSP. I actually had the danged thing online for about 15 minutes at one time but then lost the connection even though I'm sitting 12 inches away from my #@!%ing WiFi Max donggle! Does anyone have any suggestions? The last message I received said DNS error. Help!!
