PSX games on PS2 with new TV.....

When I try to play PSX games on my PS2 with the new TV I bought, I get sound but no picture! PS2 games and Wii games display though.
Does it have to do with how the system is hooked up, or something?
Everything is fine, the system boots up, PSX logo appears, and then the screen blinks like normal, but nothing appears.

My TV is an Insignia, if that helps.

Originals.
My guess is that it has to do with how the video switches over.
Is it like this with all TVs now?

Don´t know if you´re playing NTSC or PAL games, but try put in the tv menu the option "auto" on system select
