Trying to copy my See No Evil dvd. I am using DVD Decrypter with Any Dvd 6.1.3.2 running in the back ground. DVD Decrypter runs ok, when I open DVD Shrink, go to flies, click on See no Evil, Dvd shrink cannot open file. So then i run See No Evil files through VobBlanker. Try that files that VOB made, same error. What am I doing wrong?

If you haven't already try running AnyDVD w/ Shrink instead of ripping w/ decrypter. Can't remember if this one gives Shrink a problem even running AnyDVD. Does have Sony's copy protection on it.

Or if you have Recode can try with that and AnyDVD.

2 other free suggestions: (but have AnyDVD turned off)
Rip w/ DVDFab Decrypter tehn open those files in Shrink.

Or RipIt4Me

No luck yet!!

Tried using FixVTS. When I opened DVD Shrink and ran the FixFTS file, it anaylized 23% and ran out of memory.

Tried running DVD Shrink and AnyDVD, it anaylizes, but when it goes to encodes, it fails.

texasmail,

Anydvd is upto version 6.1.3.3 http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html

If you don't care about the menu function and the extras on the disk, try this...disable AnyDVD from running in the backround.

Use DVDFab decrypter to backup just the main movie.
Open the files created by DVDFab using shrink and create your backup.

Also, as suggested by binkie, you could also try using ripit4me, it uses shrink/dvd decrypter/and FixVTS in a one click mode to create a backup (it will preserve menu function).

Use Anydvd and believe

DVDFab HD Decrypter (free)... http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm

FixVTS is incorporated in the latest RipIt4Me. It wouldn't be needed again unless the files are altered after the initial rip.
