How do I put the soft mod installer in to a USB flash drive??

I have cut my controller and tied a usb cable into it. Then i hooked up the USB Flash drive to it. the xbox sees it as a memory card, But when i put the flash drive back in my PC, it wants me to reformat it. I dont know how to get the softmod on the flash drive so i can install it on the xbox. I also installed "Action Replay XBOX" on my PC, but it wont put the files on to the memory card eather. I dont know what im doing wrong.

Please Help

go and get yourself a action replay that comes with mem card and usb reader, instead of all this ghetto fabrication. could have been enjoying a nice softmod by now...

Why don't you take the proper ghetto approach..
Hotswap and put the save files in E:\udata.. then just boot the game.

The program you need to read the memory card is fatXplorer. The xbox formats the card fatx.. which isn't windoze compatable.
