I meant backup games, not a stupid question, i knew places that sold ps2 backed up games, same with psp, loads of psp's with 100 games of iso files,
hardly a stupid question ...

thats why most threads on afterdawn are on modding xbox 360s so people can play illegal games??
its foolish to say this is illegal when your helping people to commit piracy.

actually, Modding your 360 can be just to play back ups of games you legally own. And although that is still "technically" illegal i see nothing wrong with being smart and putting your originals in a safe place so they can never be damaged.
But mikeismad is correct, you can not played backed up games if you do not flash the DVD drive of the 360, so buying them would do you no good. If you bought a disc somewhere, and played it on an unmodded system (any system) then it was not a back up. The people must have a major supplier or tons of money. Because the only way that is possible is to press the discs and not burn them. And those are more money then any guy selling discs at a flee market would ever have.

i worded what i asked wrong, i meant to say can you buy backed up games, i cant be bothered to backup games myself as the process is very long,
I've already modded my xbox 360 to the xtreme firmware, but didnt want to go through the process of backing up games,
Apologies if this was misinterpreted.

backed up games are not original therefore are illegal to sell. any software not on original disk cannot legally be sold as that is piracy. anymore?
