Ok to start of with i just bricked my psp 2 times and saved it from its death.

i was customing my psp using flash agent.

i got working:
gameboot
custom font
and previously wave xmbs

but then when i downloaded a wave of qj and put it on my memory stick, flash it with Flash Agent it bricked my psp........

first time round i didnt know what was doing it as i changed alot of stuff.

second time it happened because i flashed the wave affect

[size=x-large]so to the question...........[/size]

1.) what can and cant be flashed to 3.10OE-A without causing it to brick?

i found this on qj

CANT:
3.03 OE-C or Lower Only
XMB Icons - Link

CAN:
Supported by All OE fimware
XMB Waves - Link
Battery Level Icon - Link
Volume Bar - Link - Link
XMB Sounds - Link

So in the future i suppose i have to be more careful? any help?

Its alot safer if you flash it manually with your computer. Atleast that way your in control and then you can just back your files up incase anything does happen. then you just go in and replace the file you just messed up with the old one and BAM...its all working again.

hi.. sry if i post this at wrong place.. do u know how to downgrade my psp ta-082 3.10OE-A to a 3.03OE-XX or to 1.5?? because i wanna put xmb skinns for my psp but sadly 3.10OE-A cant.. =(


bdw the "XX" refers to any letter.. or is there any xmb skinns that can be used for 3.10OE-A?

it gets to the icon on my memory card under games i press x to load it the screen just shows my wave and then doesnt load......

i have changed:
wave xmb
font
gameboot
battery
coldboot sound
volume bar

oh and how do you change the start up wave in flash agent?

be good if i can get all this customization working.

i just wish that there would finally be a working CINTRO for OE-C+

okay since u can change the wave thing on 3.10,is there a tutorial(uptodate)on changing the wave.Like what program do u use to change it and how can u have a bg(not plain)with the waves on the 3.10.Any help is appreciated.

oh one more thing(this would be much easier if there was an edit button).Okay when i change the 1-2.bmp so i can have an image along with the waves,i get the image(only the 480x272 and the 60x34 images come out)and when i go back to the psp i can see the image but some of the sub icons are gone(like the camera folder and the settings),u only see white squares.Any body know what i can do to fix this.

There is an edit button! top right of your post.

Do a search for "winstaller" and have a good read. You should be able to use the recovery winstaller to gat back to 1.5fw then the 3.03 OE-C winstaller to update. If all goes well thank hexitnow ;)
