I wondering if someone could help me with my problem. My xbox gave me the ring of death last night. Everything works fine when i play a game but when I put the DVD its a different story. The DVD plays normal but in this case when i play a dvd and the move goes to the title menu the controller doesn't work. The light is on and everything but its like the controller froze up. Can any one help with this. Thanks to all..

have you tried possibly cleaning the dvd? or checking for damage on the disc.

Also do you know what region the disc it should tll you on the face of the disc it should have a number

I fixed it already. It just started working again. Thanks for the help.
