i bricked a psp yesterday the one i got today has firmware version 2.82 and a TA-082 motherboard i read this

If you have a psp with firmware above v2.80 and below v3.03 UPDATE TO v3.03 AND USE THE v3.03 DOWNGRADER.
can anyone confirm this works and is it easy to brick it
