HDLoader + Non-Modded PS2 + Sony HDD = ???

Think this could work? I have a unmodded Fat PS2 with the Sony HDD in it and i play FFXI. I have heard that the HDLoader program can take a PS2 game and load it into the HDD so that I can play it without a disc. Is this possible for me to do?

hd loader should run all games and how did you get an hdd from sony? was it already built for installation of ps2??

Yes, if you buy the Final Fantasy XI game from amazon.com. It comes with the game and the offical HDD released for the game. but its a 40gb drive and i want to load a few things in there because there is like 5 games that use the HDD and i want to get a little more use outta it than just for FFXI.

but to answer. its not a question if hd loader can run the games. is it possible to get hd loader on a disc that ps2 with out a mod chip can read. like a ps2 formated disc with hdloader. if i go online and buy it does that come with the ability to be read by the ps2 with out a mod chip?
