popstation psx games freeze up or black out?

I am using cdwrin I think it's called and zinga burga's pop station to convert my games and I encounter these problems

some games freeze or the screen blacks out like resident evil's screen blacked out and soul blade froze

some games run a tad slow like soul blade...
any help?

Did you put your CPU Clock up to 333? That will make them run at full speed for sure. As far as freezing and what not, depending on where you got them from, they could be bad rips or not compatible with what emulator your using.

im not using an emulator...I convert psx iso images to eboot.phb files that run off my stick...

my cpu clock was set to default so I set it to 333 but no change...Im using REAL psx disks I had when I was little and trying them out...only crap ones seem to work properly
