I have version 3.03 I'm trying to run the 3.03C update, but it just says "Game can not be loaded." Can someone please give me some assistance?

downgrade then start the app and after that follow the tuts around the foums for 3.03 oe-c or post back here

Alright, I think I'm following this bit more now. Thanks for the help, everyone. One last question on that tutorial though, do I REALLY need the Grand Theft Auto game to downgrade? That just doesn't seem correct to me.

yea you REALLY need the grand theft auto game to downgrade. you need the unpatched version of the game. meaning when you put the umd in the psp and you go to the update that comes with the game the update version should be for 2.00, where as the patched versions say 2.6 update. this is the only way to downgrade a 3.03

i am very busy customizing my psp,, there are a lot of things i already changed,,but i'm not yet satisfied,,,and hopefully,,,don't brick my psp,,,

/\ Yeah i hear you man...that is what has been taking up most of my free time as well. The customizing....it is endless. What you trying to do right now. I just this week put the reboot plugin in along with modding my XMB and gameboot screen. Also i just stumbled on filer v3.1 that i am using to rip all my UMDs that i own so i no longer need to have the umd and just play off the memory stick. Good stuff! I have had my psp since the first day but unfortionatly at the time i upgraded beyond the point of using homebrew....seeing at the time there were no downgraders or exploits. But i kept my firmware at 2.6 and waited patiently like a good little boy till the possibilities came along. And now its all the good stuff.
