Hey guys jokes aside i have psp running 2.71 on TA-082 Motherboard i want to downgraded it to 1.5 how should i do it
and i want to then upgraded it to 3.03OE-C so after downgrading it to 1.5 is there any special FW for TA082 motherboard or just common 1 will upgraded it to 3.03OE-C without bricking

Ok well, did you search this here? Cause there are like 3 tutorials that show you how to downgrade a ta-082.

try upgrading to 3.03 then downgrading using the downgrader from their. it patches the mobo so it wont matter which version mobo you have... i know i keep repeating myself in alot of my posts but they are all the same questions... just different tittles... lol!

Hey guys, I Was just wondering... How do you tell wat FW your running. I kno i have a TA-082 mobo, does that mean im running 2.71?

when your in the xmb of your psp scroll to the far left side and scroll down til you see system settings click it then scroll til you see system software and that tells you what your fw is

ok.. found out I have a 2.71 along with the TA-082 mobo. I have read that DA's easy downgrader can safely do a 2.7a ta-082 corruption free.. is this true? I also have an un patched version of gta:lcs, i kno this because i have the disk with ULUS 10041 (which i read on another thread, how to find out) Now, how do i dongrade?

@ A316 you will need the unpatched version of gta:lcs which you can also tell by it having a 2.0 update

Or,since there are alot of noobs out there, go to psp-hacks.com>forums>tutorials>downgrade every psp up to 3.03 thread....your welcome...follow every step or you can brick your psp..

Now that you mention it.. I tried to play a UMD game and UMD movie... and both said the disc could not be read... any ideas why it would say that? does 3.03 OE-C not allow UMD playback?

Actually.. One disk did, my GTA:LCS... patched, but my Lords of dogtown and my GTA:VCS didnt work... Weird..

well maybe your boot.bin was enabled disable it by going into recovery mode

I enabled "Free UMD region".... and it works now (the boot.bin was disabled... so i dunno wat its problem was =) if i have any more questions ill be back! TTYL
