Hi
I'm sorry if you have seen this type of question a million times before but i'm stuck as to what to do with my burner on my Compaq laptop. When i started copying Dvd's the burner used to burn them in around 10-15 mins but now after having done 4 or 5 it's started taking almost an hour just to burn add this to the decryption process it is taking nearly 2.5 - 3 hours per disc ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. I use Nero start smart along with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink can anyone suggest a cause and even better a solution

A possibe problem is that your drive has slipped from DMA to PIO mode

Open up the guide here about how to "check and change your DMA settings"
