I have read a lot that the 2.80 downgrader is more safe and stable than the 2.71 downgrader. is this true? is it up to date info?

what downgrader would you reccomend to me i have a mobo with ic1003+1c6001 ...ta-082 i belive and fw version 2.71 psp-1001

downgrading via the 2.80 firmware is the safest way to downgrade

tomorrow im talking to my friend who downgraded with the exact same psp as me so i will see what he used then decide. i will post back tomorrow thanks alot!
