like most people would suggest here: stay away from cheap media if you can.

hmm i did a lil googling found this site http://www.mediawrite.ie/Dual_Layer_dvd%27s.htm
prices sound resonable enough but ive never heard of any of those brands except tuffdisc used them on gamecube games work like a charm

Those with CMC/Ritek ID are pretty bad.

thing is, 360 drives are rubbish and really picky with media.

it's not like a PS1 or Xbox1, you could use the cheapest noname brands and still get away with it.
