Hi! This is my first post. I was wondering, is there any free site that can capture streaming video? I would like mainly to capture video from my webcam, but also videos from online. Thanks!

You should be able to capture from your webcam using the software that came with it. If not, here's a (freeware) capture program: http://mattcollinge.wordpress.com/software/simple-webcam-capture/

For online video, here's a couple of sites to try: http://keepvid.com/

& http://wish.kuso.cc/youtube/

You copy the video URL and paste it into the box and you'll get a download link. You'll need a .FLV player on your PC for playback, and there are some good (free) programs for converting to AVI or mpeg.
