dose anyone know how to burn a ps1/2 boot disc where you "dont" need a mod chip. becouse with a mod chip you dont even need the boot disc so whats the point of makeing a boot disc if you dont need it?
all i'm looking for is a file that can copy the startup data from a psx game or can burn it on or a file that will make a boot disc



if you are gonna reply with "you need a mod chip" as your response dont bother me with your time wasting

You could wait awhile for a response cause you almost answer yourself.
1) To boot a burnt disk "where you "dont" need a mod chip" just your PS2. Is impossible. You do need a mod chip to do that. Even a Memory Card Exploit requires an original PS1 game as a Boot Disk.

2) Do you really think if we could just put a file on a disk and be able to boot up the PS2 that we would have all these threads on how to mod your PS2? Why would we need Exploits and Mod Chips?

but their is a way to do what im talking about becouse i have seen it done, the guy had a file that could burn the startup file on a psx game, he got it from a website that was all playstation files. and you also know their is someone at sony that just wants to get their hands on stuff like that. and i cant get the file from the guy becouse i havent seen him in 6 years

maybe i'm not sure because he only had a CD burner not DVD ROM even so it could if i can find it. would you help me in my search in your spare time?

I'll tell ya what, I will keep an eye out, but after 6 years into it's life along with all these boards and threads nobody has found a way to do it yet. If such a file does exsist I'm sure Big Daddy Sony has it under lock and key. Any way good luck.
