I have made many coaters while attempting to burn these games that I extracted from rar files. I am burning at 2-4x speeds. I have also changed the Book type to DVD-R
I am currently using:
Verbatim DVD+R DL
LG18x Super Multi DVD Recorder

Games is region PAL
Any help is greatly appreciated

use xbox backup creator and burn the .dvd file and you wont have any problems, assuming you extracted the game correctly

Unless the PAL game you're tryin to play is regionfree, it won't play on a NTSC Xbox360 (assuming your 360 is NTSC)

How do I determine if my system is PAL or NTSC?

It'll be NTSC if you are in Canada and bought your 360 locally. No file names, but what game is it?

I purchased the 360 from Canada. The company is telling me that the machine is region free. The system has a NME modchip. I am beginning to think it is my LG burner. Game info: UEFA Champions League 2006-2007 PAL XBOX360-SPARE

the nme requires a different backup procedure than the extreme mod...the ss sector is in a different spot
STEP2: Convert XTreme Image to NME-Format
If you have downloaded your backup from the internet then it is in most cases an XTreme Image if not stated different.
In case the download is stated as NME-compatible then skip step 2 and proceed with step 3.
- open the NME aSSociat0r (download here) - .net Framework 2.0 required which you can download here.
- click the CONVERT Tab
- select the XTreme iso (IMAGE1.000 if created by yourself using schtrom)
- hit the big CONVERT button
- after 2 seconds the image file is fully converted to NME-format.
- the image must now be exactly 7.705.657.344 Bytes of size. (in KB it is 7.525.056)

After converting to NME format I have a ISO Image size of 7.05 GB (7,572,881,408 bytes). I am using win rar to extract the iso image. This gamne is a Stealth image. I guessm that is the problem. What image files should I be downloading to burn for a 360 machine w/ a NME mod chip?
Thank you for the help........

i did exactly as you said and the size was the same, it worked on my xtreme 360 but not on my friends NME for some reason? IDK if he's lying though. what do u think could it be.

on there site it says it will work on both! xtreme and NME.
Quote: Q: Will the ISOs made with the converter still play on a Xtreme patched drive?
A: Yes, we don't touch the Xtreme security sector, we just add our own, so
it will play fine.
