http://www.modchipstore.com/Xbox-360-usb...x360-16351.html is listed as a modchip but doesnt say anything about playing backups . Thanks in advance for any kind replies , and I apolagize if I inadvertenly broke forum rules .

been answered too many times before, flash the firmware, its cheaper and less risk

matters what dvd drive you have. google xbox 360 dvd drives and find out what one you have then go from there
