i'm thinking of getting a Gameshark but will it work on my modded PS2 and i'm gunna use it for ffx (Final Fantasy 10) which is burnt.. i also have a original copy of it.. And i am from Australia so my ffx original copy is PAL will the american gameshark work with it?

i doubt it as i think the codes are different for NTSC and PAL

Hmm.. Is there a PAL gameshark? or only NTSC U/C and NTSC J ?

not sure about Gameshark, but i know AR Max has two different sites, one for US and one for Europe.
You could always go to the site and ask them. Do not mention back ups, just ask if it works with both NTSC and PAL games.
