Hi
I got the pioneer 111drive and i was looking to get the samsung 162 drive for backing up my xbox360 games. However can only seem to get my hands on the Samsung SH 183, will that do? Will it make my life a lot harder?

(BTW I WAS ALSO ABLE TO GET THE PIONEER 112 DRIVE, IS THAT BETTER THAN THE 111 DRIVE AND DOES IT DO THE SAME JOB?.)

it has to be either the 162c or the 163a, try ebay, they have them. and sometimes other stores online will, but they have been discontinued so you have to pay the price they ask if you want one. and the 111d you have works fine, unless you can take it back and get one cheaper...

just head over to Ebay, that is about the only place i know that sells the Samsung drives
SH-D162C if you have IDE connections in your PC
SH-D163A if you have SATA
a lot of them already come flashed, but if not it is simpel to do.
Personally my BenQ DW1655 works great for burning 360 games. Have not had 1 game that has failed to work. You can get one at Mertline for about $45 if your interested.

Thanks a lot guys. But if anyone knows if the samsung 183 drive will do instead of the samsung 162c drive that would mean i would not need to buy a BenQ DW1655
