but what are the benefits of having a custom firmware on your psp
i mean what kinda stuff can you actually put on there all i know that you can put on there is ISO's
but what other stuff can go on it

having a custom firware (example 3.03 oec lets you play iso cso , emulate gba snes genesis nedgeo csps2 old schools systems) you get the benfits of 1.50 hombrew (loading iso) and the 3.03 updates sony deliveries like playing playstation one games web browsing. Its like having two firmwares on one machine. I know the frustration of getting it to work if you cant wait to play that game buy a new psp (might need gta liberty city w/ firmware upgrade 2.0 umd game if the new psp is fw 2.80 ) if need help look on the forums that what i did and dont doing anything until you read everthing you can or youll just have another useless psp
