[HELP] Swap magic 3.8 coder DVD

Hey,
I'm trying to load my SM 3.8 DVD (not CD) but it refuses to load. I hear the gears grinding inside but no disk read error, just a perpetual disk reading. I have tried all four types of media and all load successfully. (DVD, PS1, and PS2 dvd and cd). The SM CD even loads.

Why doesn't my SM DVD load? It works on my friend's ps2 but not mine.

Any suggestions?

looks like a you're going to have to use your swap magic cd to laod your dvds games.put in the cd then insert an original game thats big in size,then before it even loads take it out and put in the backup.i think thats it.its on afterdawn if you want to check.

it may need a lazer adjustment what version ps2 do you have fat or slim???i had the same problem a while back and i adjusted the lazer .. then the dvd driver (swap magic )booted up

if u have a slim ps2 burn your sm 3.8 on to DVD-RW worked for me
