i just signed in to blackcats and i got a message saying this:
"You have been warned because you have a low ratio. If you are still seeding then please ignore this message. However, You will need to get a ratio over 0.75 within 4 weeks or your account will be banned. You can get seeding hints from the FAQ and also check the Seed Points FAQ."
i was a bit confused by this. does this mean that my share ratio in Azureus has to get above .75 ?
Currently on my 7th PS3 and 4th Xbox, gotta love technology..

yeah, just keep seeding, dont stop seeding a game until its at at least .800 you want to at least seed about 4/5 of what you download

oh well thats bad coz my ratio for the game i downloaded is .069 and its only uploading about 2kb/s!
its gona take weeks to get the ratio that high!
Currently on my 7th PS3 and 4th Xbox, gotta love technology..

set your upload limit to zero and let it seed while you sleep, it will go up because people are going to want that game eventually

yeah, thats minimum, they ask you to keep a .8 ratio on all games, i try to keep over a 1.0 on all mine, but GH2 is being kinda gay, no one is trying to download it right now. :(

yeah, its taking your upload and maxing it out over all your connections, you should only upload 1 thing at a time

if you just set your upload limit to '0' so it uploads as fast it can, it will raise your stats faster. just uploading the games wont really affect anything once that step has been done. and im uploading GH2 at 140 kb/s currently mike.
edit--
well it appears i was wrong about uploading more than one thing will slow it down...oh well, crap happens, lol...back to reading for class i guess.

edit- never used forced seeding, dont think it does much good.

yea, i have an outrageous upload speed at college, currently through the 7 games thats being seeded, im running at 700 kb/s and 2 of them arent even active currently.

i wish i could get the origonal graw to download at any speed above 10 kbs, i managed to leave the freaking game at home, and havent gone home in last 2 months to get it so i figured id just dl it. but its been dling for the last week...should just go rent it and rip it, but oh well.
and i like how this went from a dead thread, to one getting multiple responses in a single minute.

well going from IN to NJ my uploads at 2762 and downloads are 2459
and when i do dl a game from BC and there is a reasonable amount of people that have it 10+ it usually dls at like 240-300 kbs, but i think i have it set to max at 300 so it doesnt take all the BW up.

first of all, you cant invite trade on AD, second of all, i dont think u can get invites from BC.
