Hello,

I have been trying to find a supplier of PCMCIA SATA cards with the VIA VT6421 chipset for my laptop in the UK but have been having no luck, no where seem to sell them or they don't even know the chipset when I've asked.

I was wondering if anyone else might know anywhere I could get one if they have purchesed one in the UK or if not they might know if a supplier who would post to the UK.

you cant use a laptop and a pci sata card. you need a desktop

I wasn't trying get a PCI card for my laptop, I wanted to get a PCMCIA card as shown in some of the posts, it also in the FAQs stuck thread with a link to a site where it could be purchased. I want to know if anyone knew of a place I could obtain the same in England.

you will have to contact them, the vendor is listed as Various and it doesn't say what chipset it has.

Thanks for the help steimy, from what I have found out about the VIA chipset is quite hard to come by, most sellers don't say anything about chipset and most don't reply when asked.
