All,

Ive been away for a while, is alcohol's guide still kickin around? Is that still a effective method?

which one are you talking about as he has many guides,

if you are talking about the DVDFab+VobBlanker+Shrink+IMGburn

then you will need the Beta versions of VobBlanker for the newer sony dvds, other than that they work
VobBlanker Beta version HERE

BTW if you dont use VobBlanker and use FIxVTS instead you need the newest version of that too(1.603) for sony dvds

I was kinda wondering---never mind the guide the man makes what about him? Haven't heard from him in awhile.

All,

I followed alcohol's guide as provided in this thread.

Question - Is there any reason why DVD shirnk created a WinRAR archive on my hard drive instead of an ISO image? Regardless I did load the WinRAR archive into ImgBurn and my backup was a success, but I was just curious.
