i am not a total noob but when i bought my chip i was. its seems to be i should have bought the pro chip from what i have searched and read. the pro chip uses toxic os instead of the bio. the os has it own program for the hdd from what i understand. but the lite dos not . but it does have the dev mode 2 correct? i have winhip and have formmated and loaded some games on to it . i am still waitin for my net adapter to try every thing out . i got the indepence compiler from which i made a boot cd for the elf files.

so my question is do i use the boot cd or do i boot dev mode 2 ?

thanks for helping a semi noob

HD Advanced 3.0 or if you have a fat model PS2 you can use the HD Loader memory card exploit.
