A patch for this 3.30 OE Custom FW
won't be far away, + it's on its way to the PSP.;)
Hope the next patch will allow XMB topmenu customization...

It doesnt bother me about topmenu, but it would still be nice to have.
Think i,ll stick with 3.30OE-A, theres no point in going back to 3.03OE-C as it doesnt work with remote play on PS3...

My 480x272 movies play fine on 3.30 OE-A.

Yes, running it on a mac. I just tried that rez with 450mb/s bitrate for video. Not much tweaked...

im on 3.03OE-C, i love customizing all the XMB.
But i also want the higher resolution that is available on 3.30OE-A
is it only the menu icons that can't be changed or is it everything else as well, like the waves and 01-12.bmp files??

@minimoose, 480x272 res is only compatible with the MAQ file, have you tried using AtomChanger?
@sk8flawzz, Just topmenu isnt customizable.

@Scoobybn, 3.30OE-A is a custom firmware, in order to install it you must either be running previous OE or running firmware 1.50.
As your PSP is offical 3.30 you cannot run any homebrew on it, or downgrade it as of now.

yea man the ONLY way to get homebrew is to have FW 1.5, at the moment you can downgrade to 1.5 from anything up until 3.03. once you are at 1.5 you can upgrade to the custom firmware all the way up to 3.30OE-A so you can play your umds AND run homebrew that requires 1.5 (this is possible because of the genius work of dark alex) HOWEVER if you are on firmware 3.30 from sony, youre SOL until a downgrader is released for that version or you can find a buddy with a psp FW 3.03 or lower to trade. i hope i made sense, PM me if not so i can clarify

I've been reading this thread and am still wondering when the 3.11 downgrader is going to come out :(

VIDEO folder has been out since 2.80, Sony unlocked the restrictive file header you needed with M4V an MAQ files.
You can name them anything you want, your old encodes with the M4V an MAQ will still work but they still have to go into their respective folders.
