Burn error after updating nero

I just update my Nero ver. 6.3.1.4 to Nero ver. 6.6.1.4. It will encode, but when it starts to burn I get the following error;

2:51:27 PM #4 NEROAPI 7 File Burncd.cpp, Line 3095
Error:\nCannot connect TRF.

can anyone help me figure this out please?

The short answer: Auto burning with Nero via DVD Shrink is not supported past version 6.6.0.18

Select ISO image and burn with DVD Decrypter or Imgburn...which ever version of DVD Shrink you are using or manually burn your files with Nero.

If you want to get the best version of 6.6.0.18 and go back here it is:

To Go Back To Nero 6.6.0.18

Write down your Nero serial# and then uninstall version 6.6.1.4 from your system using the general cleantool found here:

http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html

After using the clean tool you might want to use a registry cleaner like ccleaner which is free here:

http://www.ccleaner.com/download/downloadpage.aspx?1

Then defrag your HDD

Next, download and install version 6.6.0.18 from the links provided, re-enter the serial# and you're good to go.

nero version 6.6.0.18 updates:
Package 1
http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Ner....0.18_no_yt.exe

Package 2
http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

Do NOT install InCD just the 2 above packages.

Does Nero version 6.6.0.18 work with Windows Vista or will only Nero7 work?

I don't think 6.6 works with Vista. PM gwendolin she can tell you which versions of Nero 7 work with Vista. Good luck with Vista.

Nero 6 will not work with Vista...you will need Nero 7 with the upgrade package to work with Vista.
