Hi .. I know that afterdawn has a search engine and database for this, but if the movie is not in the list, how do you tell? I have had major issues trying to back up the Superman Box set. This maybe my problem I am having. (Maybe not) According to the database, Superman 1 is a DVD 9, but says nothing about 2, 3 or 4. Does anybody here know or know how to tell? I use DVD Decrypter, then DVD2ONE and then either Nero 6 or Record Now DX. DVD2ONE is not needed for a DVD 5, so what happens if a DVD 5 is ruin through DVD2ONE anyway? thanks ...

Put DVD Decrypter into iso read mode.

This will display the info on the right hand side - and should indicate whether it is single or dual layer.

If it is a dvd5 DVD2One will handle it fine - it will not compress if it is not needed.

ANY dvd I do either dvd5 or dvd9 - gets plumbed through DVD2One, cos I know it delivers a fully compliant structure of files.

**I only backup the movie and do not include the extras - I prefer the better quality I can get using DVD2One....

Your having major problems with this I see....

It's easy really - it coughs nine times when you put the disc in.
