Does anyone remember watching a cartoon about a round, black spaceship that could turn into a robot. I remember it, but I do not remember the name of the show.

It was kinda like Voltron, except it was one whole robot, not broken into lions or anything. But, it mostly flew around space as a ship and only turned to a robot during battle. It was piloted by people too.
