hi I am a bit of a techno mother, now my 8 year old son keeps telling me to get ps2 games, but they turn out to be for older players, so everyone give me a few names of games that would be ok for my son. pretty please, thank ye muchley
Try some Disney games like "Cars" or "Kingdom Hearts". Games from kids movies. If you want to know what's appropriate, there's a rating box on the lower left corner of the ps2 game box. Most "everyone" rated games should be good.
to be perfectly honest they are very hard to find in stores these days, But anything based on a kids movie would be fine. Most games these days are just not meant for an 8yr old.
My friend had the same problem. He bought an Xbox for his 3 kids. Went to EB Games and they had about 3 games in the store meant for kind. Me being the internet savy friend i am went to a few sites and found him about 20 more made for kids like

Katamari Damacy is a good game, for both kids and adults. All you do is roll a ball around a huge room and whatever it touches it sticks to the ball. Very challenging, but also easy to pick up.
Also I came upon a fantastic little game called Rez. Its a music game, and the gameplay is simple, but the simplistic wire-frame graphics your kid may not like.
