Does anyone know how to create a system cnf. file for ulaunchelf? I mean i have a blank disc with ulaunchelf on it, but when i put it in my ps2 it says its invalid. People are saying i need a system cnf. file. How do i create one? I looked at tutorials on how but they all say i must have a system cnf. file, which i dont have or know what it is.

Just open notepad and TYPE IN FOLLOWING:
BOOT2 = cdrom0:\BOOT.ELF;1
VER = 1.00
VMODE = PAL

If your from US or NTSC region then replace PAL with NTSC.

Save the file AND NAME IT "SYSTEM" THEN HIGHLIGHT THE FILE AND RENAME IT AS "SYSTEM.CNF"
Confirm when asked by PC for changing file format

OR JUST CHANGE THE FILE FORMAT AS YOU DO FROM TXT TO CNF.

NOW BURN EM TOGHETHER ON CD-R @ 8x-16xMax.

What do you mean change the format? I mean i renamed the file system cnf. and now thats where im stuck, what do you mean change from text to cnf?

when you save it go to save as, then click the combo box to "all files" and then call it SYSTEM.CNF

I did that, and then I said to send the file to my cd and it says it doesnt support this cd r format. I am I doing this right?

perhaps u should make a guide on this NHS2008, step by step nice and easy 4 noobs. include everything from start to finish, including getting ulaunch elf and making cnf file aswell as, specifics on burning as
